Screaming Sky

"Rad Dad" Magazine

An Action Not A Label

Rad Dad, winner of SF Bay Guardian’s best local zine and Utne Magazine’s Independent Media Award, strives to reflect the diverse, eclectic experience of fathering and parenting from a radical perspective.

In the inaugural issue you will find interviews with activist Chris Crass and punk legend Ian MacKaye, a letter from a trans father to his daughter, stories on how to talk to kids in a respectful manner, on fatherhood as a black man, on carnival goldfish, and on reclaiming the holidays, plus so much more including the brand new “Ask a Dad” column and Rad Dad do's and don't list!

Editor in chief Tomas Moniz and designer Kyle Knoble work with a national team of everyday dads as well as writers and activists and artists to create an exciting, diverse magazine with each issue.
